Who is Coach RAC? TikTok’s Favorite Baseball Coach
Known for his energy, creativity, and ability to make baseball feel fun again, RobertAnthony Cruz has become one of the most recognizable voices in youth baseball today. Also known as Coach RAC, his viral drills and coaching insights reach millions of people a month.
Coach RAC has built his platform because he genuinely cares about helping the next generation fall in love with the game. At Plate Crate, that’s exactly what we’re about too. Making baseball training feel like play while still delivering real results.
Coach RAC’s Baseball Journey
Before he was Coach RAC, he was just another player chasing the dream. RobertAnthony Cruz played college baseball at both the University of California, Riverside and Biola University. From there, he went on to play professionally with the Washington Nationals.
Like most players, his journey wasn’t perfect. There were setbacks, challenges, and moments where things didn’t go as planned. But those experiences shaped how he approaches the game today. Now, he’s a left fielder for the Savannah Bananas. The Bananas have redefined what baseball can be, blending entertainment with high-level play, and Coach RAC fits that energy perfectly.
Outside of the field, he’s built a massive following as a content creator, reaching over 1.5 million players, parents, and coaches across social platforms. He’s also the co-founder of Not Your Average Baseball Camp, where youth players from all over the United States come to train, learn, and grow. He’s also partnered with Under Armour as an athlete and brand ambassador.
A Mission Bigger Than Baseball
Coach RAC’s mission is to become one of the most impactful voices in baseball by educating and inspiring the next generation of players.
He’s lived the highs and lows of the game. Because of that, he understands what young players actually need. He teaches players how to work on their game while also reminding them why they started playing in the first place.
