We got the 6-month plate crate subscription for our 8 YO son for Christmas 2024. It was something he truly looked forward to each month. Each box brought new exciting fun and useful training tools that kept him motivated. The performance shirts are very high quality and age-appropriate but the boxes don't always include that type of shirt. Their customer service is very helpful so we were very pleased when we had an issue, it was resolved very quickly.
That said, not every item in the boxes were useful for our kiddo's skill level and sometimes they were incomplete or the tools had to be paired with other products to work properly. Some of the training tools had to be used with tools provided in the Premier box, so they were rendered useless. For example, the 6 huge flags that are now sitting in a pile in the corner of his room. It didn't ruin the experience, but did make some months feel less tailored and exciting than others. Also, we got two tee-poppers with the initial boxes and they've both been destroyed in the last 4 months so I would recommend a quality improvement on those. Great idea, poor execution, at least for an 8 year old who swings like a wild beast.
Overall, this is a great way to keep your ball player engaged and excited about baseball and we would recommend to other families!
