My 8 year old likes them
Once he figured out how to throw them correctly he was throwing zingers! Person catching should have a glove as they can cut your finger when catching.

Learning the pitch hold
I like the trainers for batting purposes ,but he loves to throw with it more like a tennis balls weight . Different grip with holes also makes him seperate his fingers or keep them tighter together.
